NHBC’s annual Star Awards took place at The Vox Conference Centre in the Midlands. The event celebrated excellence across the business, recognising not only the winners of the internal awards but also all of the nominees, who were invited to attend to be celebrated for their achievements.

Highlights

• A fully branded, immersive drinks reception - using star-themed creative to build anticipation from the moment guests arrived. Prosecco walls, striking décor and share-worthy photo moments were designed to encourage social engagement and reinforce the awards’ premium identity.
• High-energy post-dinner entertainment - including interactive photo booths and casino tables, extending dwell time and ensuring the celebration continued well beyond the awards themselves.
• Bespoke award films - produced for each category to showcase the nominees and elevate the storytelling of the awards journey.
• Live camera relay and on-screen amplification - capturing winners’ reactions in real time and maximising audience engagement by bringing every moment to the entire room.
• A complete brand transformation overnight - a tightly managed day-to-evening turnaround transformed the space from NHBC Showcase to awards ceremony, ensuring a fresh, immersive evening experience with its own unmistakable look and feel. 

The Brief

The client wanted to create an awards experience that celebrated every attendee and nominee not just the winners. A dynamic set design, professionally produced VTs, and high-energy entertainment combined to ensure nominees felt fully included in a polished, high-quality awards show.
