Overview 

TransCityRail is a UK rail industry event series bringing together suppliers, contractors and the decision-makers behind major infrastructure investment.

Maverick Live have partnered with TransCity Rail for several years to deliver events across four regions, Midlands, Scotland, South and North, connecting the supply chain with the organisations shaping what’s next for rail to hundreds of delegates per event.

Highlights 

TransCityRail wanted to run a series of annual events that make it easy for delegates to connect in a meaningful way.

They need to go beyond passive listening and create an environment where conversations felt natural, valuable and worth the time out of the office.

At the same time, they deliver credible industry insights for both delegates and exhibitors.

The Brief

Create a cohesive design and slick production that reflected the scale and credibility of the rail industry.

They wanted a warm environment where people can easily connect, alongside a conference setup that supported clear, confident delivery from the speakers. This included structured content support and a format that kept sessions consistent and engaging throughout the day.

Exhibitor experience was also key, with a requirement for reliable power and infrastructure to ensure stands were fully operational and able to engage delegates from the outset.

Capturing the event was important, with a focus on both photography and video session recordings that could be turned around quickly, giving the client real-time content to share across their website and social channels.

Our Solution

We delivered full AV production across the annual event series, including live camera relay to capture keynote speakers and panel discussions, keeping content visible, dynamic and engaging. Alongside this, we captured both photography and video session recordings in real time, providing the client with immediate content to share across their website and social channels, as well as feeding into TCR’s live gallery.

We also supported exhibitor requirements, providing power and infrastructure to ensure stands were fully operational across the day.

Content templates and autocue support gave speakers confidence and consistency on stage, while our team managed stage flow throughout, keeping the agenda running smoothly.
